Bonnie Hat

Bonnie Hat (boonie hat) or booney hat, also known as giggle hat, is a form of wide-brim hat commonly used by military forces. Its design is similar to a bucket hat but with a stiffer brim. Often a fabric tape band of "branch loops" is sewn around the crown of the hat. This 'foliage ring' is meant to hold additional vegetation as camouflage. A strap provides stability. The crown may be vented with eyelets or small mesh panels.

Black

Black is the darkest color, the result of the absence or complete absorption of visible light. It has been a traditional color of cavalry and armoured or mechanized troops. German armoured troops (Panzerwaffe) traditionally wore black uniforms, and even in others, a black uniform is common. In Finland, black is the symbolic color for both armoured troops and combat engineers, and military units of these specialities have black flags and unit insignia.

Black uniform was used by Hussars and Black Brunswickers, the German Panzerwaffe, and U.S. 400th Missile Squadron, and continues in use with the Estonian Kuperjanov Battalion.
