The T-shirt evolved from undergarments used in the 19th century and, in the mid-20th century, transitioned from undergarment to general-use casual clothing. 

T-shirt is a style of fabric shirt named after the T shape of its body and sleeves. Traditionally it has short sleeves and a round neckline, known as a crew neck, which lacks a collar. A V-neck T-shirt has a V-shaped neckline, as opposed to the round neckline of the more common crew neck shirt (also called a U-neck).

T-shirts are generally made of a stretchy, light and inexpensive fabric and are easy to clean. Typically made of cotton textile in a stockinette or jersey knit, it has a distinctively pliable texture compared to shirts made of woven cloth.

Designed especially for rocky, arid and urban environments, the A-TACS AU (Arid / Urban) camo features innovative organic digital pattern where small and organically-shaped pixels replaced conventional square pixels. These small shapes then build micro and more defined macro layers, creating exceptional "pattern within a pattern" appearance which effectively breaks up the human outline at a greater range of distances. Being digitally sampled from the real-world elements of desert and city, the A-TACS AU pattern utilizes various shades of green combined with a mixture of earthy colors for improved concealment and protection. Since its development, the camouflage became largely popular amongst Tactical Professionals, Law Enforcement and Special Operations personnel as well as Airsoft and Paintball players. The A-TACS AU pattern was applied by many companies, such as Condor, Flyye, Helikon, Propper and Wisport just to mention a few.
